I spent most of today ferrying the kids all over hell and creation so they could do "their" Christmas shopping. Since we are all together when this happens, it is an exhausting day of schlepping, running interference, misdirection and, most importantly, supplementing their funds...
But at the end of the day, there are presents under the tree. And the boys are beside themselves with curiosity - pawing and shaking and contemplating the possibilities. Their excitement is actually palpable. Makes it all totally worth it! :-)
