My oldest was in the Middle School Spelling Bee today. He certainly seemed calm, cool and collected here - but I was total wreck watching... He did a fabulous job and finished in 2nd place overall (just behind the boy who ALWAYS wins.) ;) I am beyond proud of him (and probably more than just a little relieved that he didn't actually win - I don't think I could sit through another one of these at the regionals...don't tell him I said that!) Love this boy and his big, big brain! :-)
@Weezilou thanks Louise - although I give him all the credit! He is a wonderful boy - and came that way! ;) We just found out he qualified to be in the State Geography Bee at the end of the month and I am already having nervous fits just thinking about it! Not him though, he is still cool... :)
