Hope In Mid-Winter

“While there’s life, there’s hope.” - Marcus Tullius Cicero

I am attempting to keep alive another plant. A daunting task for me that is for sure... It is my Mother’s Day plant from the Spring that hung on the lamppost in my driveway and flowered like crazy all summer. I loved its endless blooms and it seriously brought me more joy than any plant I can recently remember. I brought it inside when the weather turned but it has been mostly sad and limping along in my kitchen window ever since... But just today I noticed that my half alive plant had actually produced a flower! One tiny flower - but that was more then enough to give me hope that we can all survive this nonsense we like to call ‘winter!’ 😊
