I emerged from the office today a little battle weary. I had arrived somewhat bedraggled, my umberella having proven insufficient to face the wind and the rain. Apart from a brief, and soggy march around the block at lunch time, my eyes had remained firmly glued to the computer screen.
And so it was with some surprise that I found myself sauntering home to the sound of birds chirping, sun shining bright, and joggers and rowers enthusiastically travelling along the embankment. Boundless energy was evident in the park as men gathered for football training.
None of this did I manage to represent with photographic evidence. Instead, I waited to see if I could catch some activity amongst the bird life, caught in the molten-like river.
@ulrike@moviegal1@nataye thank you for the follows which mean a lot to me. Im all over the place with style and consistency but hope you will find something you like from time to time! Welcome.
@helenhall I know what you mean about it being difficult to keep up with replying to everyone's comments...I prefer to reply to each comment but lately it hasn't been happening. There just doesn't seem to be enough time for everything. :-)
Just superbly captured Helen, well done!! This is wonderful!! The silhouette against the shiny water... Just lovely. And I know what you mean about not being able to reply to everyone sometimes - I think we're all that way, more or less!
Fantastic image. Re your reply above, I find I can't reply to everyone's comments on my photos, but instead, try to comment on the work of others as I can. If I forced myself to be perfect, I would have to give up the project.
@kerosene@ethelperry You have both made an invaluable input of comments and support to me. And I agree, this is not a project in which to strive for perfection. Enjoyment is key. Thanks again.
