If you know me at all by now, you will have picked up how much I enjoy a good reflection. (Actually, in both senses of the word). So I am happy to end square September with one taken in my favourite place for gathering enjoyable reflections - the River Great Ouse in Bedford.
This one is squared and flipped but otherwise unaltered. They never seem to need anything doing to them. Just tune in, and the perfect composition, complete with colours and artistic flare presents itself. I didn't really achieve much SOOC through the month (mostly forgetting and tweaking by habit) but am happy to close with one that hasn't been messed with (unless you count looking at it upside down).
I am moving into October, having observed so much change in the natural surroundings during September. Most of this would largely have passed my by last year, as I didn't start 365 until October.
Tomorrow, I will be putting together the new Artist challenge - so look out for it.
@kerosene thank you Caroline. Nearly a year in time, but I left a big gap in December and early Jan when Mum was dying. It just seemed wrong to 'fill it in' They were days from another life. I will celebrate when I reach 365 photos.
What a lovely photo reflection with the soft greens & Brown's. The black branches nearly look like a river. So maybe a bit like the year you have had with change & different tributaries running off it.
I always love your reflections (in both senses of the word). Beautiful image! Definite fav for this reflection! :-)
I think we started following each other in November...I have a big gap in the end of July/August and like you, I'm not going to fill in those days and will celebrate when I reach 365 photos.
