Cambodia: Hidden fisher boy by helenhall

Cambodia: Hidden fisher boy

Our last day in Cambodia was spent journeying back to the airport with a couple of brief diversions along the way.

Our guide took us for a spin on his motorbike before we set out - my first ever ride on a bike!

This stop was at a 12th century ruins of a temple. We stood for a good five minutes looking across a pond when suddenly I spotted this young lad quietly fishing right beside us. He was happy to converse and let me take his picture.

A wonderful holiday in which we felt we really had begun to get to know something of the history, culture, sights and people in the country. Ill probably fill the next couple of gaps with extra shots from the holiday and then that will be it for Cambodia.

Many thanks for those who have travelled with me as I have posted my photos these last couple of weeks since coming back. All your comments, viewings and observations are much appreciated and enjoyed.
