Coming over the hill

As the light is fading and it doesn't look as if I am going to make it out today, I will continue on the insect theme and post this bee from a few days ago. I was trying to get a slightly different pov than usual and the leaf edge provided me that opportunity. Not as sharp as I would have liked - I tend to zoom in without realising that I have gone beyond the capacity of my optical zoom.
Super capture

In such a macro not everything can ever be sharp. This is very good. (I think it's a bumblebee)

I don't think I've ever been able to see a bee right in its face! Can't see its eyes and what is all that hair on its face! Super macro!

WOW POV. Fav. Sharp is most important for macro images that have little else to offer.
