As I mentioned wheat fields yesterday, I thought I would post one today. Taken at the other end of the day to Saturday's barley. It wasn't until after 8pm on Sunday that I felt I could brave the temperatures and go out. It is difficult where I live to find an enticing backdrop for a sunset, but then I realised that I was in a field of wheat and that I could use this to my advantage. I'm posting two versions, taken less than a minute apart, because I really cant decide which I prefer.

I like both images Helen and I am in the minority with this I know, but I prefer this image just slightly more. I like the hint of the golden sun just about to vanish, the subtle colour tones in the sky and how the wheat looks very textural in this light.
