Spotted in Cookham at the weekend after watching the Red Kites soar and dive over the River Thames, near the bench by the War Memorial.
Another attempt to reap the benefits of backlighting.
Speaking of butterflies, I'm feeling rather nervous. In just two hours time, I will be performing with the choir at a local theatre. After a term of collaborative work with women at Yarl's Wood removal centre we have a repertoire of songs. My poem which has been set by us to music, will be getting its world premiere. I do hope I don't stumble over the words!
Such a beautiful shot Helen, I don't think I have ever seen one of these, perhaps I live a little too north for it to visit. Good luck with the premiere of your poem, or should I say break a leg
What a beautiful macro shot... such detail. I do hope the premiere goes/went well... How exciting! You are a woman of many talents!
Thank you for your lovely comments on my return to 365... It's nice to be back! :-)
Wonderful detail! Good luck and fun with your performance. How very special thatyour poem has been put on music! You've made me very curious, because I am a great poem lover!
I hope it went well Helen, I am sure it did. You got a lovely capture of a marbled white, I was chasing around after one this morning but didn't get a shot that did it any justice.
Thank you for your lovely comments on my return to 365... It's nice to be back! :-)
Hope last evening was a roaring success..
