From my increasing collection of abstracts, I have picked this one for today. Im tending to favour the ones that have had little or no editing, but just emerge from observation of what is around. It is surprising what can be found. But what I do find is that I can look but not see, and once I begin to see, lots of opportunities present themselves. Which is why I have ended up with a collection - taken in August, posted in August, but not necessarily on the same day.
here, the Viking shaped rowing boats on the boating lake, have made some wonderful stripes of reflection.
@redandwhite@365projectorgjenfurj@suzanne234@onewing@maggiemae@kjarn@flowerfairyann@stimuloog@kwind@caitnessa@gaylewood thank you all indeed, for your observations on shape colour and texture. You are all kind and supportive which I always appreciate very much. @helenm2016 I am glad you understood. Definitely an attitude of mind, to see. @wenser how kind of you to say so. You are most generous
. @fotoblah I am beginning to understand the essence of the true abstract. To create something which is all the more interesting and worthy, because of not knowing what it is, must be the ultimate goal.
@gardenfolk I too, love reflections and would happily wonder up and down the river capturing reflections more often, if I didn't feel it was such an easy option.
Blooming awesome.. love this image for the tension between warm /cool hues.. the play of light on the shifting water is beautiful Helen.. in fact the image, as a whole, is beautiful..
