Coming home from work yesterday, there were flashing lights ahead as a fire engine attended some kind of call out. I wanted to see if I could turn the flashing lights into some kind of abstract. by choosing the 'wrong' focus I was able to achieve a number of bokeh shots. I combined a few of them together to get an effect I was happy with.
You have managed to get a lovely softness to these harsh bright lights. I hope all worked out well with the call out, you have certainly got a great image from it
really works as an abstract. i like all the different sizes of bokeh, and the gentle colours are lovely ... if i may be honest, i think i'm slightly distracted by the brightest one in the lower section of the image
@suzanne234 Thank yo Suzanne. It was fun to experiment. Whatever was going on, atthough there were hoses and firemen, didn't look too serious. @helenm2016 your fav and comment much appreciated Helen @hrs thank you - I was pleased that it was somewhat successful @stimuloog thanks Marloes. Much appreciated. @onewing so right I do as more often than not things have to be dismissed and put down to experience. @taffy I have another which puts a bit more substance to the picture. I may post it later. @gaylewood thanks Gayle, pleased to have your comments. @pistache I love a good bit of honest criticism here and there - I can see what you mean. I often rush the last bit of my processing - just because it gets so late, and post something wihich is little more than 'good enough'. Thank you for the feedback. @redandwhite thank you Catherine, your visit and comments much appreciated.
