Abstract August 16

I am filling my hard drive with vast quantities of mediocre nearly abstracts. I have them all queued up but others come along and queue jump. They are becoming an unmanageable crowd and I fear the data police will soon have to be called soon to restore order.

This one crept in from today, I have always been fascinated with the lines of the balustrade along the town end of the river. Not so abstract perhaps, but nevertheless taken for shapes and layers.
Oh Helen, you have made me chuckle with your unmanageable crowd and data police. All sorts of pictures running through my head now. There could be a film in this.

Although your photo is grey, there is just so much to see. The curves and textures are creating all the interest and I can see why they have called you. Definitely worth them queue jumping.

A nice, strangely soft image. Your story made me laugh, I hope order is soon restored, only 15 more days to go

I like your composition and tones.

I really enjoy reading your commentary. You have so much tenacity. Viewing on black brings out the lines.

I am so glad this unruly image jumped the queue! I love the lines, textures, and tones. And your narrative made me laugh; just today, I looked back through some images and found some images of feet! Why feet?! I have no idea, but they had no business in a respectable catalogue of bugs and flowers!

oh i'm loving the sensuousness of the curves with the focused one just peeking out round it's pals..
the textures are sublime.. and i like the colour too.. it looks good in square format..

i laughed, literally out loud as i read your first paragraph..
i laughed because i too have far too many pics that 'might do at a push and with a lot of work'
They will have to be deleted because disk space is at a premium - but i may wait until the beginning of next month - just in case i need one of them.. lol

Fabulous shapes, texture and tones. I hope the data police have stayed away.

@flowerfairyann @suzanne234 @kwind @moonmtn @olivetreeann @shylaine3304 @taffy @gaylewood @haskar @evalieutionspics @jorlam @kjarn As I am once again behind, (it happens every time I catch up) I cant reply individually as I would like to you. Thank you to those who 'got' my data police commentary. They did in fact visit last night, and took away a huge chunk of the abstract collection. I hope I wont run out now, before the end of the month. Thank you too, for the kind comments on my simple balustrade detail.
