Four bananas

I'm digging into the archives as once again I have had no time for the project.

This was an alternative shot to the stacked bananas I posted last week.

Thank you to all those who offered kind words yesterday. The hospital crisis is over, but the fall-out continues and is likely to be ongoing for a while. I will do my best to pick up on this gradually.

Oh, and for anyone wandering - a couple of these bananas made it to the freezer and so the banana loaf will happen eventually.

I like the effect in b/w of something which is such a distinct colour naturally.

well i'm glad the crisis is over, and wish you and yours bon courage for the fallout. i like the crispness of the blemishes that the b&w gives - looks like they've been spattered with ink - preferred the composition of your earlier bananas though :)

Sometimes black and white looks unreal, but here it somehow makes the bananas *more* real for me. I like the brightness of the photo!
