As promised, two more heron photos going up today. I have now finished editing them and am left with 69 shots from over two days. That is ridiculous. I'm just not sure which might be the stand out ones yet.
This one wasn't on the weir, but amongst the corner and out of the limelight. I have kept this one because I like the curve of the head resting into the body, and the curled up feathers on his front.
He looks quite stern here but I think this is probably just how all herons look. Those curling feathers are so adorable though and soften his stern exterior. That beak looks very sharp!
