We hit the path at a leisurely pace, what with my ankle, my husbands knees and my son's foot all leaving us somewhat challenged. Despite this, the counter showed a handsome 30,000 steps by the end of the day.
At times the path was busy with walkers on a 20 mile sponsored hike cheerfully making their way towards Hunstanton. At other times, it stretched ahead unbroken, and in line with the vast expanse of sand and with an open invitation to continue onwards. Our goal was the village with the dominant church tower, staying always at 10 0'clock (this being a matter of some dispute) and off the edge of this scene. On arrival, refreshments would be found to strengthen us for the return leg. The rain timed its arrival for the final steps of our journey.
Congratulations for the long hike. It would be a remarkable feat even with perfectly functioning joints! Beautiful desolated picture with those parallel lines going (apparently) no where. Fav
