More from Hyde Park. Instead of looking over the bridge over the Serpentine recreational lake, I glanced over the other side of the bridge to see this peaceful spot as the Serpentine came to an end and overflowed to its dead end. Just to the left of the dead end, is the first Holocaust memorial garden - Britain's first memorial to the victims of the Holocaust.

that indeed evokes peace and quiet. in London, no less. i have reviewed too many regency novels so i am rather aware of the serpentine and i like that i now have a visual for it. aces, Helen. aces!

@hrs there are many memorials that I never knew were there. Worth a visit to view and reflect.
