Trees of Sossusvlei

I wasn't going to throw this one in, but then again, it seems to have found its way. The tracks, I believe are those of an Oryx. We did see one briefly amongst the dunes here.
Spectacular!

Beautiful picture, great composition, focus and light. Are you still there Helen?

@caterina no - I am cheating! I was back a couple of weeks ago but my camera broke and is currently in repair, so I am just carrying on posting my holiday photos since there are so many of them to work through and process.

@helenhall In any case we enjoy sharing them

@taffy @caterina @joemuli @olivetreeann @Dawn @haskar @caterina @pistache @onewing @francoise
Thank you Taffy, Graeme, Joe, Ann, Dawn, Haskar, Clare, Babs and Francoise. I humbly apologise for being so poor at acknowledging your comments which are always lovely to get. I just cant keep up. Know that you are appreciated. I try to answer specific queries or points but don't even always get around to that. Just so rude!

Absolutely stunning. Fav! If these shots were taken with the camera that broke I'd say it has earned a rest!

I love the composition

@helenhall Not rude at all! I've learned over time that 'thank you's' can take away valuable time from commenting, which I think is always more appreciated. For the past several years, I've moved to commenting as often as I can as one of my ways of thanking for comments. In the end, I think that is a better use of time and it honors those who have taken the time to comment on our photos. Never feel guilty!

@helenhall Don't worry Helen- I know you will comment when you can and I always appreciate it when you do.

@taffy thanks. Yes I agree - I try to do the same.
