We took a flight from Swakopmund back over the Namib-Naukluft Park which was a wonderful experience highlighting the vastness and variety of the landscape free from development and inhabitance.
It was my phone which seemed to be able to capture the best of the views and it so happened that I managed to pick out the area of Hiddenvlei where we had been two days previously - as shown in my alternative album. http://365project.org/helenhall/365-extras/2018-11-23
I thought that was pretty cool.
No more from the desert. I hope to bring you a different scene tomorrow.
What an awesome experience you've had! I know I'm looking at the land but for some reason this is making me think of chocolate pudding and whipped cream! Beautiful shot.
I'm just catching up and this shot is stunning and so I had to go back through your month. You have such a good eye for shape and light and this is a wonderful series. Keep enjoying your trip!
@granagringa thank you for your very generous compliment. I am no longer there - just working my way through the photos I brought back. I think they will keep me going for a long while - especially as my camera is now in repair.
The whole series from Namibia is wonderful, Helen. So sorry for not having been able to follow it day by day. This I love particularly. It does convey a Saint-Exupery just-before-landing-and-meeting-the-Little-Prince feeling...
