It may be a large blob on the map, but it is a small collection of services in perhaps one of the most solitary places on earth - not far from the Tropic of Capricorn.
Lots of abandoned old cars, a coffee shop with famous apple pie, and a 100km range call out service for fixing new tyres. An important and welcome stopping place for travellers.
