the title describes my current attitude to photography - a necessity for the present. At camera club earlier this week, we heard how a photographer might take a hundred or more frames to stack and get that perfectly focussed macro image front to back.
By contrast, I have taken my grab image of the low hanging willow branches over the river, and blurred it. I've added a slight texture layer and created what I consider to be a reasonably pleasing abstract result.
@shannejw yes - I used the movement blur as the blended colours and pattern of the leaves made it a more interesting shot to me. Didn't think of ICM at the time.
Elements does a much better job of motion blur than any of my attempts! Real sense of movement here. Also thanks for the explanation of why my focus stacking efforts are pretty useless:)
