We had a night out at the theatre on Saturday. We were early in our seats - but these two got here before us.
I may have removed a couple of people that I would rather not have arrived to spoil the pre-theatre drama.
Taken with my phone.
Wonderful exhibition at Tate Britain during the afternoon, showcasing the harrowing work of Don McCullin. What an outstanding photojournalist. I rather liked these words of his -
'The photographic equipment I take on an assignment is my head and my eyes and my heart. I could take the poorest equipment and I would still take the same photographs. They might not be as sharp, but they would certainly say the same thing.'
wouldn't it have been great if there was a silhouette of someone behind any of the windows? it is still a great shot, yes that is that drama of just the couple amidst all the empty seats. pity those poor people who had been arbitrarily removed but at least it was just in post processing and not in reality. there is a story to be written with this photograph as a prompt. brilliant shot, helen. aces!
We were at the theatre yesterday, hope your play was good.
