Last Friday, whilst the wind was fierce and the rain came down hard, there were atleast pockets of brightness and some variety in the sky. I took this on my way back to the car after sheltering in the bird hide. There was no one to tell me the name of the flower then.

By contrast, today has been persistently wet and grey, not to mention cold. Little to inspire the photographer to venture out.
