It is forbidden to linger in the Sunday sun,
to sit awhile and soak up the warming rays of the morning.
But to move through the winding paths around the lake, as in exercise, whilst observing the light highlighting the latest development of spring; and to enjoy the full force choral performance of the blackbirds, the robins, the tits, the thrushes, whilst the geese and swans fly overhead - no,that is not forbidden.
A beautiful photo , i've stopped taking my camera out on my "exercise walks" as I am worried about lingering around taking photos will be seen as "none exercise" . I am sure my wife and I were being watched by an plain clothes policeman in a car this afternoon !
Anyway , it's a lovely photo and narrative , stay safe helen
such pretty, fuzzy signs of spring. indeed i hope our ability to walk outside will not be curtailed - though i'm not sure how we'll escape that further restriction when so many in europe and other parts of the world are facing it
Your words are so poetic...so profound...so perfectly expressing our world today — yet your light-soaked image uplifts! Thankfully, the Light has a way of doing that.
