a brush with reds

posting sooc - being without editing facilities beyond microsofts picture.

This is all that I brought back from an outing with Dad yesterday. He had no bridge matches scheduled and the sun was out, so we packed a picnic, bundled into the car and made use of our National Trust membership.

Three hours of pushing the wheelchair around yesterday, and today, a brief walk to the wood, taking Dad to Mum's grave, followed by mowing the lawn left me spent. But I summoned the energy to cook a meal, and thought I would treat myself to glass of wine, which promptly got spilt all over the table cloth, curtains and carpet. Now that the clear up /rescue operation is complete , I'm off to bed before any further accidents occur. Good night.

You've been quite busy, for sure! The time spent with your Dad sounds wonderful, and I love the focus point and beautiful colors in this image. What an interesting plant...I don't think I've ever seen one before. I hope you get another chance soon to relax and enjoy that glass of wine.
