I'm missing visiting all my virtual friends here on a regular basis and hope it will happen again before too long.
The dunstable downs trip was a well needed stretch of the legs in the open air, with the phone firmly closed. A friend said to me last week that when times are particularly tough going, it is important to balance out all the 'bricks' with 'balloons' Out in the countryside, away from responsibilities, I think I know what she meant. Certainly things felt a little lighter for a while.
Take care everyone, and thank you to all those who are still popping in to comment despite my ongoing inability to get back to you in any consistent way.
Nice view. I particularly like the suggestion about bricks and balloons. Now that the pandemic is acquiring strength again, after each tv news, daily newspaper and, alas!, after surfing the internet, I would need an entire fleet of helium filled balloons. Take care!
@caterina oh I understand, it is all so much more demoralising the second time around. I think hot air balloons are required all round. You take care too.
i'm on my third painting project. these days any beautiful landscape i see i imagine myself painting a similar view. but of course, it would take me years and years of tutorials before i would even thought of painting something on my own. i love those clouds. aces!
