My sister calls Dad several times a day. It is difficult to know when is a good time to call, because although Dad and I certainly don't get up to much, we are ususally busy trying to get something done, or about to do something. There is about an hour's 'active' window on most days - somewhere before lunch, if we are organised enough. Today, my father decided to extract the runner beans from the pods that had been left unpicked so as to have some to plant in the spring. He chose the twelve best beans to put aside ready for planting. But whilst I had my camera out to take a picture or two, my sister rang and they had a good chat.

I was exploring the possibility of a silhouette but couldn't find a way to make this work, so then went for low key. Not sure if I ended up with anything better than an under exposed photograph, but it is all part of the journey.

It's silhouette-like. I really like your endeavours and that you show us the steps as well.

I think it is a lovely low key image. It tells a story too.

I think you should tag this for the get pushed challenge. It is exactly what I was thinking of for you - window, father, low key, emotion, ...
It's A FAV!
