I swear preparations for Christmas get earlier and earlier each year. But at least the lights of this Christmas tree seller in our local park are not turned on yet.

I always find it overwhelming and unwelcome when Christmas commercialism invades my Autumn. But I can cope with this rather arty angle on it - especially with the lights off.
I noticed them putting up the lights on the courthouse yesterday - won't be turned on until December. They park in Ft. Smith had all theirs up a month ago - but as you said, at least not turned on. Guess it made sense to do it in better weather.
