"I told you there was only room for one in this jacuzzi!"
Our two ducks love splashing around under the hosepipe in this big plastic tray so much, they fight over whose turn it is next! I had some nice pictures of them looking pretty, but I couldn't resist putting up this one of them being so silly. They are just like small children - if one has something, the other wants it too!
This morning was so warm and sunny I took my laptop down to the field and set up my office on the old picnic table. It reminded me of being a student and taking my books outside to revise for exams. I've never understood why they put exams in the middle of summer! Just like then, I didn't get much work done, but it was lovely to sit in the sunshine! And watch the ducks...
How funny it is to see a couple of ducks being silly! I never thought they had that in their personality! Sure made for a cute picture! Love seeing your animals!
they are also very naughty as they have stopped laying recently. Or at least we think they have. It maybe they have found a hiding place for their eggs deep in the nettles, or that the rats are taking them - but we haven't found any broken shells, so they'd have to be very clever highly-trained Ninja rats. It's a mystery.
thank you - yes, they are pets. We hatched them from eggs. Right now there are four goose eggs in the incubator, so should be some fluffy gosling pictures coming in a few weeks if all goes well!
What a great picture. I can image a hot day and these two quibbling over who gets in the water. The one on the bottom looks like he's not going to take it much longer.
Love it! We have four ducks on the farm and they are hilarious! Two of them are this same buff color. I spend lots of time watching their antics when I am mucking the paddocks out!
