What could be simpler than a single strawberry on a wooden table? So what's with all those lines in the wood grain, and the dimples and the seeds and the hairs on the leaves? I'm just not sure that simplicity is my thing, but this is probably the best I'm going to get. They were very good strawberries though, and I scoffed most of them before the kids got in from school to polish them off.
And that's how "the universe" can boggle the mind. Maybe things aren't "simple" at all...especially when you begin to view the intricacies and know you can still go down even further levels! You really open our eyes up to the possibilities here...which makes this a provacative photograph.
Being nosey, I was curious to see what one photo you'd selected as a favourite, and what a delightful surprise to find my "Pink" there! Thank you :-) That photo would probably fit well under "Simplicity", too...
I think that if we look close enough, even the simplest things have a complexity to them...and even the most complex would have a simpleness too. Anyway, that looks to be a very plump, juicy, delicious berry.
Darn...too tricky posting comments from my phone! Am enjoying my visit with Dad but going crazy not having internet access for my laptop and not being able to upload my pics this week! Love your strawberry photo and so true...nothing is really simple if you look close enough.
