Who's That Trip-Trapping Over My Bridge?

The dogs haven't featured in any pictures this month and are threatening to take it personally, so here is Storm on this morning's walk near Dry Drayton, coming back to see what's taking me so long.
The title is from the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. You have to say it very loudly in the voice of the troll who lives under the bridge. It's compulsory!
This looks like a great place to take a walk!

Lovely shot and I have always liked that story. I purchased a set of three miniature porcelain goat years ago as a reminder.

Oh, I loved that story as a child. And what a wonderful photo of your dog. Makes me feel all teary-eyed - I love a collie!

Is there anything better than watching your dog follow you home...this is lovely! He doesn't seems too concerned about that troll under the bridge. Troll vs. doggie---I'm betting on the dog! I can just picture your dog batting the troll about like it's a game!

Then you have to say in a medium sized voice "it's only me, the middle sized billy goat" - I think....didn't they trick him into thinking the big goat was the baby goat!? This is compulsory over ALL bridges in the world.

That beautiful scene, and you've got me thinking of that story and the image of the troll under the bridge! Funny what stayed around in a dusty corner of my brain... Does the troll not say, "I'm a Troll, Fol de roll, and I'll eat you for supper!" Run, Storm, Run!!
