Translucent Apple Tart by helenmoss

Translucent Apple Tart

The first cooking apples are ready on our tree and this evening Ed baked this apple tart. It's one of our favourites from Nigella Lawson's How To Eat. Apart from having the distinction of the word Translucent in its name, this recipe is also very simple, quick and yummy. It also showcases Ed's pastry-making genius. The tart is much better than this photo taken at 8pm and already dark outside; the nights are drawing in!
well done Ed this apple tart looks yummy, you will have to let me have the recipe please

Oh yummy-yum! Well done ED! :o)

Thank you for your comments on my photos, Yeah, I am back at the same place. They rejected my resignation, sat me down, cleared the air (a little!) and we agreed that I would stay! Phew...Cause there really isn't that many jobs out there to choose from :o(
