It was a frantic morning. Ed was so tired after his camping trip, he couldn't get out of bed this morning and missed the school bus for the first time in over 3 years. I had to drive him there, so I piled the dogs in the car too and took them for a nice long walk. it was a lovely sunny, breezy morning. By the time we got back and I settled down in my office to work, the dogs were ready for a nap. This is the view from my chair as I turn round and look into the hall. The dogs like to stay close - especially Storm, who often wedges himself under my desk when not sprawled in the doorway.
That must've been some walk, bet it takes quite a lot to wear them out! I went for a walk near our old house this morning and was missing Jed, boo hoo!
That was Monty after our long walk this morning. I couldnt let all that fresh air and sunshine go to waste after such a dull weekend. Pleased you enjoyed your walk Helen and that Ed got home in one piece. You know theyve played hard when they go away because of how tired they are when they get back :)
You know, they're actually working very hard; it only looks like they're sleeping. If you were to move a snack wrapper around to make that crackly noise, they would be up at attention in a flash. Great shot.
