Banoffee Glory

In a mad moment I volunteered to help out at Will's Scout group tonight. Forty very energetic boys (and a few girls) between ages of 10 and 16 crowded into a scout hut, cooking full meals over gas rings. Amazingly, plates of chilli and sesame chicken and pasta and meatballs and beef tortillas were produced, and as for dessert! This was my contribution to the evening; a deconstructed bannoffee pie in a pint glass...whipped cream, crushed biscuits with melted butter, bananas, caramel, flaked chocolate and wafers. Utterly gross, but the kids loved them - especially the part where you have to smash the biscuits in a plastic bag with a rolling pin to crush them! Time for a stiff drink now!
this is a great idea! i would love to try it too! :)
