I went into Cambridge today to work in the library, just to have a change of scene from my desk. The university students are now all back in residence, wandering from cafe to lecture to tutorial to bar, looking young and studious and full of life. I hope these students outside Trinity College don't mind being in my picture. I love the way the boys are looking all purposeful and serious as they head off to a lecture with their books, while the girls are standing around looking fabulous and texting.
Priorities!! That cape she has on is bang on trend, I'd like a twirl in it! And those over knee socks, want want want, but then again maybe you have to really be 19 ( for real ) not just in your head! mmm I suspect that is the case... great little snippet of student life!
You have a keen sense of observation! In all, it's a lovely image of fall day on a university campus...and don't all the elements add up to a ubiquitous appearence!
Nice shot. I haven't been very good about commenting either. Life has just become so busy lately, I feel luck to keep up with the photos. But I'll try to do better too. :-)
Cape envy! I keep dithering as to whether or not to invest in a cape. My fear is that next winter it will be unwearable as quite high fashion and oh-so-dateable.
@karenball Yes, it's a tricky one - although I'm not really tempted by capes too much - there is something about them that makes me think of an old-fashioned district nurse riding around the countryside on a bicycle - that or Wonderwoman!
