Smattering by helenmoss

Smattering

"Mum, it's snowed!" Those were the first words I heard this morning. I was still in bed and Will came in to report the exciting news. This was followed up by a more restrained meteorological assessment from Mac; a hard frost and the merest smattering. It has been very cold all day. This was the scene on our dog-walk at four this afternoon. There could be more than a smattering coming our way soon by the look of those clouds.
What an awesome capture!!

Yep this about sums it up! Mind you I'm sure the heaviest fall was when I was in the middle of Ipswich with 2 hands full of shopping!

This is a wonderful capture, with the road ahead and the clouds, and the one silhouetted tree. It tells the story of these short days before the solstice.
