I was in Cambridge today ticking off some of those errands that have been languishing at the bottom of my to-do list for months, like getting a new battery in my watch and a new library card. I caught sight of the chap painting the bottom of the wall down the little alley and was zooming in for a picture when this lady strode along the pavement. I think she was running late. She was steaming along with a purposeful stride and the steely look of a woman with a list of a hundred things to do spinning round in her head. I hope she doesn't mind me snapping her photo as she passed.
Very intent look. I wish you had posted this earlier as I have three watches resting in my sox draw waiting for new batteries and I am just now back from town...oh well.
