Lambs Behaving Badly

We drove home from Shropshire today, calling in to see Mac's Mum on the way. the dogs had been in the car a long time so I took them for a long walk near Wimpole Hall. Coming back to the road, I put the dogs on the lead as there were sheep grazing nearby. I'm glad I did, because when I looked again a little posse of juvenile lambs had hopped through the fence and were out looking for trouble. They were heading for the phone box and I'm sure they were hatching a plot to make a prank call to Little Bo Peep.
What a bucoilic rural setting...and such a beautiful day!

Makes a change from men behaving badly! They do look like they're off to make a phone call, hope they remember to hang up before the call can be traced or else the poem won't make any sense at all!
