Helen please explain this to me. If you leave the shutter open very long during the day time isn't the image too bright? I've been wanting to do this but not sure how to make it work.
@myhrhelper thanks Kathy, yes you are correct, I haven't been able to do it before, this day was crappy but not raining at the time so I thought I would see if I could. On aperture priority as usual I set it to as small as I could ie: f32 and it gave me a shutter speed of 3.5 secs because it was so overcast. Because the waves were so choppy I was able to achieve this look in this time which was cool. thought I was mad to go out in the weather but drove home thinking again that I am correct when I tell people you should be able to get something in all conditions and situations :-)
