Aachen and Charlemagne

One of Aachen's specialities is 'Printen' ... gingerbread. And Charlemagne was crowned the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire in Aachen Cathedral in 800 AD. His relics are on display in the Cathedral Treasury.
Yummy Printen, I have been to Aachen once and liked it. Very nice Pictures you put together here :)

@milaniet Hard to imagine how old the relics are when one looks at his femur in the Treasury! Look like bits of old wood!
