I've gone from trying to get a shot of them with a 600mm telephoto lens and then having to crop the image about 50% to be able to see them to this, shot with a compact camera with a 24-75mm lens and just chopping off the top and the bottom of the shot :-)
This looks amazing, I still have so much to learn! I looked at your exif, would I be able to achieve a similar result with my 15-85 at 22mm? Does the aperture make such a difference?
