Ron Ruggeri, retired Fire Chief, mentioned this spring that it was 50 years since the fire that raced through the township destroying over 50 structures. So we asked him to put together a presentation for the historical society. Wednesday night, 16 Oct 2013, he did. He was assisted by firefighters Mr. Landi, Mr. Badger, and Mr. Rosemont who actually fought the fire and Mrs. Olson, who at the time was working as a photographer for the Philadelphia Bulletin .
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
