Since the 250+ year old white oak died in 2016 and this year (2017) is the 150th anniversary of the founding of the township, a chain saw carver was hired to crave historic scenes into the tree.
Retired educator - taught mathematics in high school, went back to graduate school, worked in research labs, and finally went back and taught computer science...
