Richland White Oak by hjbenson

Richland White Oak

As I have shown previously, the 200+ year old white oak had died and was carved to show historical highlights of the township. Today – with a great sky – I tried taking it from a different perspective and this is the result
those tree carvers are amazing with what they can do - great perspective :)

Beautiful shot to show all those amazing carvings. Glad to know that the carvings were made on an already dead tree.

@sangwann Thank you Dione, the tree was just a sapling when people started to settle this area; so when it died, the mayor decided on thus way to preserve it
