Unseen world.

"So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
And did they get you to trade your heroes for ghosts?
Hot ashes for trees?
Hot air for a cool breeze?
Cold comfort for change?
And did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage?
How I wish, how I wish you were here.
We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,
Running over the same old ground.
What have we found? The same old fears.
Wish you were here. "

My first attempts at infrared photography. Not perfect, but I started to get the hang out of it. I just popped down to the Greenbelt next to the Laramie River to get the hang of things. I'm thinking a trip to the mountains is in order next!

Taken with Nikon D300, Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens, Hoya R72 filter (58mm, so I just held it over the lens)
Very cool indeed.

Thanks everyone! This was my first time shooting infrared, so I'm happy to see such positive comments about it since I was pretty much just learning how to do it :)
