@eyebrows It's a Nissan Sentra SE-R Spec V (hence the factory badging with the red R) with a fully built engine, huge turbo, and a standalone engine management system.
@eyebrows The Sentra is just a saloon car, whilst the Spec V version of the Sentra is a more specialized edition tailored towards a more 'racing' environment/feel overall. The front fascia is somewhat influenced by the Skyline design. And many allude the V-Spec version of the GT-R has certainly a word play on how the "Spec V" title came about, or associating it to be a faster, ultimate version.
We have the new Skyline's (R35) here in the US, but as far as the older generation (i.e. R33/4) they have to be imported. Recently, they have become outlawed altogether (to be hunted down, impounded/confiscated and destroyed), as the government perceives them to be a great threat to our homeland security.
