Old barn.....again! by homeschoolmom

Old barn.....again!

Wow, what a difference. Saturday's rain brought down the remaining leaves. I was surprised to be able to look through this barn and see thick brush behind it. All of my other pictures just show a dark interior, so I assumed there was a back wall behind the door. Guess it was a wall of brush.

That is such a neat old barn, really fun seeing the seasonal progress too. It does look so barren now.

Pretty weathered wood and ramshackled building.

@mittens There are tons of these old barns here. I can't believe that they don't tear them down. they are usually in the middle of a field, like this one, which usually has cotton right up to the door.

@quietpurplehaze I didn't even notice that. Good eye!
@lynnz @linnypinny @ladygator @randystreat Thanks!
@paulaw There are a lot of these around here. Occasionally you see one that has collapsed.
@danette That's what's left of the cotton plants that were growing in this field. They just harvested them right after Thanksgiving.

This old barn has so many great details and all of the branches around it make a cool texture that creates a frame. Excellent composition!
