My Get Pushed challenge this week (although I didn't get it posted in time) was to show cooperation. Knitting takes lots of cooperation between your hands, the needles and the yarn. I make the stitches too tight, so I haven't quite got the cooperation down yet.
@genealogygenie Thanks. The t-shirt yarn is very thick, really a flat strip. If this ever become big enough to wear as a scarf, it's going to be very warm.
Lovely close-up. It looks fuzzy and soft. We made t-shirt yarn from old t-shirts in Fiber Guild several years ago. Then we knitted it with our arms. Something fun to do.
@randystreat That's what a lady at church told me, too. Maybe if I tried using my arms as needles, I'd get more than an inch a month knitted! LOL! @lynbonn Thanks!
Great shot. I can't cooperate the knitting either. I'm a fan of crochet. Working on an afghan now, that will look like a quilt when done. Keep my hands busy, and less eating of junk food...LOL..
I was drawn to the thumbnail of this shot by the colour and I also like the textures. I can't knit for toffee and once I drop a stitch, that's me finished.
@lynbonn Thanks!
