I have taken many photos of this memorial cross at our church. It was erected right after we started going here 3 years ago as a memorial to one of our church members who was killed in Afghanistan in 2014, just before we got here. Today, they dedicated a stone in front of the cross, engraved with his information. It was a nice little ceremony between services. Lots of people showed up, in spite of how hot it was.
