I got my hubby a Heritage Flag when he was promoted last year. For his retirement next year, we're getting one of these colored flags. The regular Heritage Flags are made from the wood of old bourbon barrels. The colored versions are made from bourbon barrels and wine casks, which is where the color comes from. The company is owned and flags made by a group of former special forces soldiers. They have paired up with another group of their friends who own and operate the Southern Pines Brewing Comany. They did all the woodwork in the tasting area of the brewery and many of their flags are on display.
Seven years and counting, and still enjoying every minute of it, although I don't have as much time to devote to photography as I'd like.
