Our microwaved died over a month ago, but we've been to busy to go shopping for one. Finally found one that was acceptable last weekend at Home Depot, but we had an issue with when they could install it. They were only in town on Tuedays and Thursdays, my busiest days, and wouldn't give us an installation time early in the day. You just had to take what they gave you. So that pushed our install date into late July. So, I went to the local Hometown Sears, which only sells appliances, on Wednesday and found exactly what we wanted (2.1 cu ft, 1100 w, black, not convection oven) for practically the same price as the one that wasn't quite what we wanted. And, they could install it today. They came about 9:30 and were gone before 10. I was even able to meet my small group at 11 a.m. at church. I "baked" the potatoes for dinner in it tonight. Worked great.
I thought mine had died and I went to my favorite local store where it was purchased 13 years ago. They told me two things to check and it is working again.. But they always work with me on delivery and install.
